DRIVE-by yobs threw eggs at the legs of a young couple as they walked in Windhill, Bishop’s Stortford.

The gang, who were in a dark red Peugeot 106, pulled up near the 25-year-old man and his girlfriend, aged 22, before lobbing several eggs at them from the car and driving off on Saturday evening (August 28).

The couple were left splattered with egg but were otherwise uninjured.

The assault happened around 9.45pm. Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Herts police on 0845 3300222.
