AWARD-winning comedian and television star Rhod Gilbert will be making an unexpected stop-off in Stortford at the end of the month, it has been announced.
The Welsh stand-up, right, who has appeared several times on BBC2's Mock The Week as well as presenting Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Have I Got News For You, is appearing at Rhodes on February 28 to test out new material for a show currently in development.
Since turning professional in 2002, Rhod has performed five critically-acclaimed shows - including The Award-Winning Mince Pie and The Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst, which he took on tour around the UK between 2008 and 2010.
He is gearing up to embark on his sixth project, called The Man With The Flaming Battenberg Tattoo, which will be filmed for a DVD release at the end of the year.
