Teenager hurt in Stortford town centre attack

A TEENAGER suffered head injuries when he was attacked in Bishop’s Stortford town centre.
 
PoliceThe assault happened in the car park of Jackson Square on Saturday night, March 6, but details have only now been released by police.
 
The 18-year-old victim and a woman were approached by three men who, it is believed,  asked for the cans of beer he was holding. They took the beers from the teenager and then punched him.
 
The attack occurred at about11pm. The three men responsible are thought to have made off towards McDonalds in Anchor Street
 
 
DC Kerri Burns of Herts police said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information about it to call police on 0845 3300222.
 
“This was a distressing incident for both those involved and we are keen to identify those responsible. If anyone knows anything about this incident please call us.”
