Vandals' trail of havoc in Stortford

VANDALS left a trail of wreckage in their wake when they smashed windows of properties and damaged wing mirrors of vehicles parked in Bishop’s Stortford.
 
Five or six buildings and four vehicles in King Street, Church Street and Windhill were targeted between 2am and 3am yesterday, Tuesday March 9.
 
DC Neil Lancey of Herts police said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed these incidents or anyone who may have information about them to call us on 0845 3300222.”
 

A 20-year-old man from Stortford and an 18-year-old youth from Braintree have been arrested in connection with the incidents and have been bailed by police until April 8.
