Great Hadham Country Club has announced they are now able to host weddings and civil ceremonies.

After successfully hosting wedding receptions for many years, Great Hadham Country Club were inspired to apply for a wedding licence because of the number of people asking them to perform wedding ceremonies on site.

Debbie Lovick, the club’s head of hospitality, said: “Many people who have had their wedding receptions here love our setting in the beautiful East Hertfordshire countryside. Lots of people have asked if we are able to host ceremonies on site as an alternative to a more traditional setting. We are now very happy to announce that we can.”

Aside from weddings, the licence will also allow for baby naming and renewing marriage vows.

Club director Danielle Leak said: “We are obviously very excited that Hertfordshire County Council have been able to grant us the ability to hold wedding and other civil ceremonies here.

“After a lot of hard work and dedication the Club House and our new Wedding Garden are looking fantastic. We can’t wait to start welcoming people to Great Hadham and share their special day with them.”
