Suzanne Corgan will be putting the pooches through their paces at Ugley village hall for eight weeks from May 21.

The 39-year-old set up Stocking Pelham-based Paws Galore 13 years ago and has just started using the energetic Rally O programme.

She said: “Rally O is a new fun sport for you and your dog to take part in together. It’s like circuit training for dogs, combining obedience exercises with agility.

“Dog and handler negotiate a course of 10-20 stations with different exercises to perform. There are three levels with 50 different exercises in total. Level one is the beginner stage.”

Suzanne said: “Handlers are allowed to encourage and praise their dog as much as possible without penalty. All dogs – purebred, mixed breeds and dogs with disabilities – are encouraged to participate.”

As well as running the courses, Suzanne offers a walking service, dog sitting and pet taxi facility.

The proud owner of golden retrievers Charley and Nico also advises on canine behavioural issues.
