Illness scuppers Uttlesford sixth-formers' charity gig

A CHARITY Pink Floyd tribute gig arranged by enterprising Uttlesford sixth-formers has been scrapped at the 11th hour.

The Pink Floyd DImensionOn Saturday night (Feb 11), thanks to the efforts of the seven-strong team, top tribute act The Pink Floyd Dimension, right, were due to play Saffron Walden Town Hall for the Moreton Romanian Orphans Fund (MROF).

However, due to serious illness among the band, who were one of the main attractions at last summer’s Stortford Music Festival, the gig has been called off.

Customers are asked to approach whoever they purchased tickets from. They are also asked to consider making a donation to the MROF.
