UTTLESFORD residents spelled out their fears for the area's future at a public consultation on the district's housing plans on Tuesday night (March 2).
According to Government targets, Uttlesford District Council must find space for more than 10,000 new homes between 2001 and 2026.
A site has not yet been decided for some 4,000 of these - and controversy still rages over the best site to build them.
