Join Chris on an epic challenge
A PARAMEDIC for the Herts Air Ambulance is urging county residents to join him on the charity’s fundraising trek to Italy.
Chris Martin is taking part in the challenge to climb the Vesuvius, Stromboli and Mount Etna volcanoes, which will run from June 14 to 19 next year, and is hoping more supporters will come onboard.
Critical care paramedic Mr Martin said: “Every day that I work on the air ambulance I have first-hand experience of what an amazing service Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust provides.
“I am lucky enough to see the impact we can have on people’s lives, not just the patient, but their loved ones too and it is for this reason that I want to support the charity and do my part to help keep the helicopter flying by raising much-needed and vital funds and really challenge myself by trekking three volcanoes.”
The registration fee is £250 and a minimum fundraising target of £2,000 is required.
