Stortford man hurt in Much Hadham crash
By James Burton
A BISHOP'S Stortford man suffered bruised ribs after skidding on mud and crashing his car into a ditch just outside Much Hadham.
Police, fire and ambulance teams were called at 3pm on Friday (February 5) after the 22-year-old lost control of his black Renault Twingo at the bend on the B1004 near Great Hadham Golf Club.
The vehicle, which was travelling towards Bishop's Stortford, spun more than 360 degrees as it hit the verge on the opposite side of the road then bounced back onto the Stortford-bound lane. It finished up with its front end pointing into a ditch.
Paramedics feared the man might have broken a rib and took him to Harlow's Princess Alexandra Hospital by ambulance, but an examination revealed no serious injuries.
A Herts Police spokeswoman confirmed officers were not investigating further.
