Man trapped after Stortford crash

A MAN was trapped in the wreckage following a two-car crash in Bishop’s Stortford last night (Monday February 20).

Two fire crews were called to the accident in Hallingbury Road at 11.03pm.

Firefighters using specialist hydraulic cutting gear worked for nearly an hour to free the injured man who was then taken to hospital by ambulance.

Another man was given first aid at the scene.
