Don't freeze, call the Home Heat Helpline

12 per cent of Essex families are eligible for assistance (worth around £250) when it comes to paying their energy bills and keeping warm – are you missing out?

Essex residents are being urged to call the Home Heat Helpline as the cold weather shows no sign of thawing out.

The Home Heat Helpline is a free, not-for-profit phone line that you can call for independent advice if you’re worried about your energy bills. 

“It is also important that we all think about any relatives, friends or neighbours who may be vulnerable,” says Christine McGourty, from the Home Heat Helpline. “Please tell them about the Helpline or call on their behalf.”
