Rock 'n' Roller disco wheels its way into Rhodes

FAMILIES in Bishop's Stortford are in for a wheelie good treat when the UK's number one roller disco provider rolls into town this half-term.

Rock 'n' Roller are coming to Rhodes on Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 30 and will host sessions for youngsters and adults, as well as an 80s-themed fancy dress party.

The Mini Rollers sessions, which run on both days between 10am and 11.30am, are designed for families with children under 11 and novice skaters and include interactive games and lots of dancing.

The main sessions are suitable for teenagers and adults and will be accompanied by a DJ playing everything from 70s disco classics to today's chart hits.

Rounding off the two-day event at the South Road venue is an over-18s party where guests are encouraged to don their 80s clobber and skate the night away to a host of cheesy classics from the era.

Each event will be manned by experienced staff and marshals, trained to assist event the most cautious of first time skaters to help them find their feet.

Quad skates, wrist guards, elbow and knee pads and helmets are provided as part of the entry price.
