BISHOP'S Stortford's scheduled game at FC Halifax Town today (January 28) in the Blue Square Bet North has been postponed.
The match was called off this morning due to wet conditions making the pitch at the Shay Stadium unfit.
It was frustrating for Stortford who only heard the news when they had completed more than half the coach journey to Halifax.
No date has been set for the re-arranged fixture but whatever one is arranged it will mean that the Blues face a midweek trip to West Yorkshire.
Stortford are next in action when they take on Hemel Hempstead Town away in the semi-final of the Herts Charity Cup on Tuesday.
The Blues are then due to play Colwyn Bay away in the Blue Square Bet North on Saturday February 4.
