Bishop's Stortford FC's game at Stalybridge Celtic is postponed

BISHOP’S Stortford’s scheduled match at Stalybridge Celtic tomorrow (February 7) in the Blue Square Bet North has been postponed.

Football The pitch at the Mottram Road ground is frozen and a new date for the re-arranged game has to be set.

The postponement comes after Stortford’s two previous games in the Blue Square Bet North at Colwyn Bay and FC Halifax have also been postponed.

Stortford are due to host league leaders Hyde this Saturday (February 11) but this is not certain to go ahead as the weather forecast for next weekend is very bad.  

The Blues' last league game saw them draw 1-1 at home to Workington on January 21.  

Two new players have also been signed by Blues boss Rod Stringer.

Ben Seymour-Shove, an 18-year-old striker, has joined on work experience from npower Championship club Peterborough.

Seymour-Shove has spent time with Ryman League division one north side Soham Town Rangers and Evo-Stik League premier division St Albans City  this season. 

South Korean midfielder Hyun-Jin Lee, 21, has joined from Ryman League division one north outfit Brentwood Town, where he had been for just more than a month.

Originally with Ridgeons League side Halstead Town, Lee moved to Ryman League division one north club Redbridge.

Lee then joined Brentwood in December from Ryman League division one north league rivals Romford.

He had signed for Romford in June 2011.
