Stortford, who had beaten Tring the week before, were in control for almost all the game and they scored seven tries.

This meant they also picked up a bonus point and the hosts also did not concede a try against the West Sussex side.

The tries for the hosts came from Max Malkin, Ed Merivale, Jimmy Rea, Tom Coleman, Maehe Austin and Richard Gill (2).

Stortford’s other points came from Tom Coleman who kicked four conversions and two penalties.

The win lifted Stortford above Dorking into seventh spot in the 14-team table. Dorking had lost to league leaders Jersey.
