Stortford secure league title

A DEPLETED Bishop's Stortford wrapped up the Home Counties Premier League division two east title with a six-wicket victory at West Herts on Saturday.
 
Stortford were missing skipper David Hughes, seamer Ruan Premedasa, all-rounder Glenn Querl and opener Alex Smith.

The hosts scored 152 as Steve Coleman enjoyed a brilliant spell of five wickets for 31 runs.
 
With the bat, Tom Chapman top scored with 46 as the visitors passed their target in 51.4 overs (153-4).
