FOR this month the theme is ‘Neglect’.

This means anything from a broken fence to an overgrown gravestone. It may not be intentional but the result of no human intervention on something that relies on attention should bring interesting results.

Look out for rustic textures and use good lighting to bring out the form. I’m sure there’s something that we all have seen and watched for years that could be the object of a good photo.

Always consider the angle, distance, focal length and your position in relation to the sun and send in some worthy shots to inspire others.

The winner will be selected by Catchlight Photography. If you’d like to learn more about photography with their ‘One to One Personal Workshops’ visit http://www.catchlightphotographers.co.uk/ and go to ‘Photography Workshops’.

The closing date for entries in the end of November. The winner will be announced in the Observer.

Send your entry in using the form below, making sure you fill in every field. NO MORE THAN FIVE PHOTOGRAPHS WILL BE PUBLISHED FROM ANY ONE PERSON PER MONTH.
