PRIMARY school children can pick up some top acting tips from Bishop’s Stortford’s favourite panto villain this Valentine’s Day.
On February 14, Rhodes is teaming up with Harlow’s Phoenix Theatre School for an exciting one-day workshop called Play In A Day.
The school – whose principal Phil Dale produces Rhodes’ annual panto and made his mark as the nefarious Sheriff of Nottingham last Christmas – will give participants just eight hours to prepare a show for their parents.
Kicking off at 10am, the session will culminate in a full performance for friends and family at 6.30pm. Youngsters will be supervised at all times and there will be regular breaks.
Tickets are £35 per place, including two tickets to the evening play, or £4 per ticket to the show only. Children will need to bring a packed lunch and evening snack.
Places are limited to 30. Find out more or book at www.rhodesbishopsstortford.org.uk or ring (01279) 651746.
